Main School Open Evening - Thursday 24th September 2026

Our Open Evening is on Thursday 24th September 2026. The event is held at both sites (Windmill Lane, East Grinstead RH19 2DT and Imberhorne Lane, East Grinstead RH19 1QY) to allow families to experience the dual aspects of the school whilst demonstrating what the school feels like as students journey from Year 7 to Year 13. We are open for visits and tours from 4.30pm to 7.30pm no booking required, providing plenty of opportunity to speak with our teachers and students about their experience of the school and to help guage the distinctive character of a split site school. We will be offering student-led tours at both sites, with the last tour commencing at 7.15pm.

Bookable Presentations - Main Hall, Imberhorne School, Imberhorne Lane RH19 1QY at 4.30pm, 5.30pm and 7.00pm

Presentations will be given by Mr Whatford - Headteacher, Miss Marlborough - Deputy Headteacher as well as a group of students. The presentations will be held at our Imberhorne Lane site only (no presentations will take place at Windmill Lane), The presentations will provide you with an opportunity to hear abour school life, our values, aspirations and achievements. These will require a booking and due to the capacity of our main hall there will be a limit of 3 tickets per family; the booking link for this event will be live from Wednesday 9th September 2026.

Useful Information

• Parking around our Windmill Lane site in particular is limited and we therefore encourage those who can walk to and between out sites to do so
• We have more space available for parking at our Imberhorne Lane site and there is a public car park on Imberhorne Lane as well
• Please leave enough time to see both sites and attend one of our bookable presentations
• We recommend to allow up to 30 minutes to view the site at Imberhorne Lane and up to an hour at Windmill Lane
• Our presentations will be no longer than 30 minutes
• It takes 20-25 minutes to walk between sites and 10 minutes by car depending on traffic

Open Morning Tours

We will also be offering morning tours of both of our sites during a 'working' school day. These tours will take place each morning at both school sites week beginning Monday 28th September 2026. Due to availability these tours are available for Year 6 students who will be applying for a secondary school place in September 2027 only. Bookings for these tours will be via our online booking system which will be available from Tuesday 22nd September 2026. Please make a note of the date so you don't miss out. The tours are timed to allow you to book a tour at both sites in the morning.
