U12 RUGBY
LINGFIELD COLLEGE 10 : 25 IMBERHORNE
There was a big improvement in performance from the Imberhorne year 7s, in only their second ever game. Beau P started at 10 and made a big impact on the game structure, whilst Zach T looked like he had been playing at fullback for years, despite appearing in only his second ever match. Strong carries from Morgan B (hat trick of tries), Owen A and Bobby G laid the foundations for the backs to play some running rugby, with a man of the match performance from Stan M, who had a superb attacking and defensive game. Well done boys, a great performance.
TRY SCORER: Bobby x1, Stan x1 & Morgan x3
Man of the match: Stan

HerMove Mayor’s U15 Girls Cup
HerMove Mayor’s U15 Girls Cup and Adam Dabell Memorial
Kudos to both our Under-15 girls and Sixth Form boys teams for the brilliant way in which they represented the school at the HerMove Mayor’s Cup and Adam Dabell Memorial matches at East Grinstead FC on Thursday night.
Both teams were highly competitive, working extremely hard in every area of the pitch, with the most sporting behaviour on display. In spite of the results not quite going our way, we were all extremely proud of them.
The plan going forwards is to maintain this as a double-header of matches between Imberhorne and Sackville. Thank you to the numerous families, friends and students who turned out to support them.
Thank you to Milly Cook from Year 12 A level Photography for taking photographs at both matches.

ADAM DABELL CUP
For the 21st time Imbehorne and Sackville competed for the Adam Dabell Cup and on a perfect night for football and following the wonderful girls match the boys took the field and didn’t disappoint. In an even first half were both sides should have scored it stayed 0-0 at half time. The second half started and again both sides missing chances early on until a break away goal led to Sackville taking a 1-0 lead, after countless substitutions from both sides 1-0 became 2 -0 in what could only be described as comical, the ball cannoning off the keeper onto a post and then onto the extremely unlucky Aldridge. This pressed Imberhorne to playing full on attacking football and with another piece of luck Georgiou found himself unmarked for a free header from a yard out 1-2 for the next 10 minutes Imberhorne tried absolutely everything to find a much-deserved equalizer and Tidy nearly found that late on but hit his shot wide the whistle blew and Sackville took the honours 2-1. But football was the big winner tonight.
Big Thanks to Jim who officiated both games and Milly Cook from Year 12 'A level' Photography for our wonderful images from the evening
