On 14th November, at the Chequer Mead theatre, students from local East Grinstead schools gathered to participate in the annual Rotary Club competition ‘Youth Speaks’.  Well done to our KS4 team who chose to speak on scientific endeavours to prolong our lives.  Ioannis Gabrielides, Kieran Johnstone and Henry Grub were outstanding. Our Sixth Form team, Izzy Sanders, Nial Kavanagh and Alice Calvey were speaking on the alienating effect of youth culture, particularly the ill effects of social networking.  Although neither team progressed to the next 'regional' round this year they represented themselves and our school in such a positive way and we are extremely proud of them all.
