On Monday 10th, Thursday 13th and 14th November our Year 8 students visited the Sea Life Centre in Brighton to gain further inspiration for the development of a sculptural project. All groups experienced an exciting opportunity to draw a variety of fascinating marine life using a variety of sketching techniques to capture movement, texture, pattern, shape and form. The students will now be incorporating their vast array of fantastic drawings to form dynamic and innovative designs for a 3D sculpture which will be created during the spring term. Each visit was a huge success and a wonderful collection of work was produced by Year 8, thank you to all the staff who assisted in making the annual trip so enjoyable.
