Imberhorne hosted the annual East Grisntead Rotary Club Masterchef Competition on 10th December with a number of Year 10 students who produced fabulous two course meals - they were cool under pressure and fabulous in the taste department too. 

Our Year 10 star bakers worked overtime after school on 7th December to produce over 200 delicious 'school made' mince pies which were delivered to local key workers and care home residents on Wednesday 8th December.

Huge congratulations to a team of our Year 8 students who won the Meridian Rotary Youth Speaks public speaking competition on Tuesday 23rd November. Isla Gladman, Terri-Jo Munday and Nina Barnert-Kalisz delivered a barnstorming 15-minute performance debating the motion ‘We Should Boycott China’.

We were delighted to get some 'live' theatre going again during the week of 15th - 19th November when our Performing Arts students took their Children's Theatre pieces to local primary schools. Oh no they didn't, I hear you cry....oh yes they did..... It's never too early for panto!

Supporting Children in Need is a firm Imberhorne tradition with an outstanding amount of money being raised for the charity over the years by our students and staff. Thanks to the efforts of the 2021 campaign, we raised £1576.00.

 

The fabulous 11R and 11W have both chosen to support local charity, Greenaway Foundation as their Form Group charity for 2020-2021.

We are thrilled at Imberhorne to receive a Bronze Skills Builder Award after introducing the Skills Builder programme last year to Personal Development lessons and Form Time at Key Stage 3.

We were really pleased to organise multi award winning provider of educational workshops, Elevate Education, to visit on Tuesday 9th November. They provided their inspiring Study Skills programme to all of our Year 11 students who are in their GCSE examination year.
