Three students took part in the BSJA (British Schools Judo Association) National Individual Championships 2010 at EIS Sheffield on 20th March representing Imberhorne school.They all gave a good performance on the day, in a competition which has approximately 300 competitors from across Britain.S.
The following students: A. Clark, O. Starr, J. Ringwood, C. O’Dwyer, H. Cockshott and S. Blackmore recently took part in the East Grinstead Lions Sponsored Swim at Olympos. They swam continuously for 30 minutes and raised over £300 for the Lions charities and the Minaki School link. by Ms. A.
Mr B. Newnham and Mr B. Mainstone have recently been awarded Honorary Bachelor degrees (BSc) from Loughborough University where they were students back in the sixties.
Thursday March 4th 2010 saw our team of Year 8 and Year 9 attending the UKMT Team Mathematics Competition at Ardingly College. This was a regional final featuring teams from Surrey, Sussex, and Kent.
On Tuesday the 9th February the Year 12 Health and Social Care students donned their professional finery and represented Imberhorne as delegates at the 26th Annual Health and Social Care Conference.
