Over the weekend of 6th – 9th February, 50 sixth form students visited the German capital of Berlin. Students studying Art, Photography, History and German toured many historical sites such as Checkpoint Charlie, the Reichstag and the very poignant Holocaust Memorial.

Congratulations to Charlotte O'Neil in Year 10 who has, for the second year running, been selected as one of three highly commended entries in a nationwide competition run by the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) in London.
Students past and present joined Mr Byrne and Mr Dunbar for a freezing cold day of mud and water as they completed the annual Grim Challenge. 8 miles of water, mud, obstacles and hills over the British Army’s tank testing course in Aldershot lay ahead for the runners.
Year 10 students were treated to a visit from British poet and broadcaster, Luke Wright in November. Aged 32, Luke has a relaxed, confident manner that stood out in the hour long assembly he took in front of all the Year 10 students.
