On Tuesday 11th November a group of gifted, talented and passionate Year 8 Food Technology students enjoyed a wonderful trip to South Lodge Hotel in Lower Beeding. They were treated to a tour of the Michelin star kitchen and restaurant and allowed also into the newly opened cellar dining experience. They were also shown a thorough demonstration on how to cook scallops and prepare cauliflower in a variety of ways. Not only did they get to sample the food once it was finished but they also got A* tips from the head chef! Overall, a fabulous time was had by all and the students said they never wanted to leave!
