The Imberhorne Library at Windmill Lane was bursting with bookworms on Thursday 6th March. We are passionate about encouraging students to read at Imberhorne. We know how important it is for learning and for enjoyment. To mark the occasion of World Book Day, Key Stage 3 students were invited in to school from 8.00am to celebrate ‘reading’ with a tempting pastry and glass of orange juice. You could hear a pin drop in the library as over 50 students celebrated their love of reading by joining in with this special breakfast group gathering. By 8.30am there was only space in the library for floor seating but the students didn’t seem to mind as they settled down with their book and devoured their treats!
